We would like to be able to add a custom option for ordering of facets.  At this point you can only have the option to order by Alphabetical and order by Number of instances (either ascending or descending).  But imagine if you have a set of facets such as

Small

Medium

Large

None of the options make sense, and yet we would want to order it Small, then Medium, then Large

Hello @yvonne,
Thank you for your idea.
What you describe is a very special use case where you want to sort facets manually. In your example it is simple because you have three values, but it gets a lot more complex when you have more values.
We do not plan to address this use case for now. In any case, thank you for your activity on the Community!

Thank you for responding.

It’s not that uncommon a use case and I provided a simple (and easy to understand) option for illustrative purposes.

I just looked at one of our datasets e.g. https://data.brisbane.qld.gov.au/explore/dataset/brisbane-parking-meters/information/ which has a number of facets/filters which would be useful to adjust manually.  e.g. number of parking bays or Operational Day (because they can’t be categorised as an integer and needs to be text it gets mangled and 0 rarely makes sense to be “first” in the list)

I’m hoping that it can be reconsidered an an option :)

Thanks
