I would like to see an enhancement to help improve stakeholder engagement and interaction. Specifically, a mechanism for stakeholders to register their interest against datasets, upcoming plans etc —similar to a ‘like’ or ODS Community “upvote” button. This will allow better visibility of stakeholder interest and will help identify which datasets, maps, or charts are most relevant to stakeholders.

That’s a great idea, thanks for sharing it. Liking assets converge with several needs we are exploring right now, some admins would also like to see their consumers rate the assets, or be able to rate the quality of the underlying data, say if the assets meets its description, or be able to send feedbacks to the asset’ contact.

We are currently working on making the whole new experience, from the catalog search to the consumption of the data more robust, efficient and intelligible. Working on the stakeholders interactions will probably come next.

I let the idea “Open” in the meantime if others want to upvote it and/or complete the idea by sharing usecases.
