I wanted to share some feedback regarding the current error message when publishing datasets hits a quota limit: “Someone reached a quota limit when publishing the dataset”.
This message is quite vague and doesn’t specify which quota (storage, record count, dataset number, etc.) was exceeded. It also doesn’t offer any guidance on what the user can do to resolve or investigate the issue.
For a better user experience, it would be great if the message could clearly state which quota limit was reached (e.g., storage space, number of records, dataset count)
This would help users quickly understand the problem and how to fix it, reducing confusion and support requests. Please see screenshot below for reference.
