Hi Everyone, My name is Dario Schiraldi — born in Italy, building my journey in Dubai, and leading Travel Works with a global vision.

I’m looking for some advice on how to filter and sort my datasets in OpenDataSoft. I want to make sure my data is easy to navigate and access for users, but I’m not entirely sure what the best practices are when it comes to applying filters and sorting options. Does anyone have experience with setting this up? Any tips on how to effectively filter data based on specific criteria, or how to sort it in a way that enhances user experience? I’d love to hear your thoughts and suggestions!

Regards

Hi Dario,

The best way to get a feel for filters and sorting is to explore examples directly. You can check how we structured our portal here: https://data.bs.ch/explore/

For detailed guidance, the official User Guide is very helpful: https://userguide.opendatasoft.com/en/articles/3082370

This should give you a good sense of how to make your datasets easy to navigate and filter.

Best regards from Basel

Boris
